For the successful completion of the MSc and the award of the Master’s Degree, the postgraduate student must attend and pass ten (10) postgraduate courses, five (5) in the first semester and five (5) in the second semester, as well as write and pass the thesis (third semester).
Each academic semester has a workload corresponding to thirty (30) credit hours (ECTS). The Master of Science degree requires the accumulation of 90 credit hours: 60 credits from the 10 courses offered in the MSc and 30 credits from the thesis.
In the second semester of studies, postgraduate students are required to choose one of the three specializations of the MSc A specialization is offered if it is chosen by at least 1/3 of the postgraduate students in the course and by no less than seven (7) students.
Graduate electives are taught if a sufficient number of graduate students are enrolled in them, i.e. not less than five (5) students. If the number of students enrolled in a course of study is less than 15 students, the Assembly may modify the above number of students.
